Last month I played through some wet, freezing weather. My standard wipers kept icing up.
So I stopped to buy something hopefully better. Rain-X offered two different upchoices for the same price. It wasn't obvious to me whether beam or hybrid was better.
So I got one of each to compare. I figured if the passenger side worked better, I'd swap 'em. Didn't take long for test results. The next morning in daylight I noticed the Hybrid one started coming apart!
Fortunately, I got them at Walmart. So at the next store I exchanged it for a matching beam type. As for how much better than standard? The weather cleared so the jury's still out. Ideally, I can avoid icy weather altogether. Regardless, at least my wipers are fresh.
